Nancy, KG6PNP and I went with our radio club to participate in a Summits on the Air (SOTA) activation of Big Hill WS-NS290 in the Siera Nevada Mountains.  Big Hill is a active forestry fire lookout.  The weather was great Nancy got her contacts to activate the hill and I made a few summit to summit contacts.  I also tried portable PSK31.  I was surprised to still see a few PSK31 signals on the band.
