This year for the ARRL June VHF Contest I participated as a rover for the first time in the low power limited rover class. My wife Nancy, KG6PNP was the dirver and I operated the radios from the back seat. We had a blast 910 contest miles over the two days covering 15 grid squares. We covered Northern California on Saturday and San Joaquin and Los Angeles on Sunday. We had lots of strange looks as people passed our rover vehicle. I don't think we did too bad for our first outing.
